8/5/2020 Skipping Through The Nebraska Pararie...

The first day of our "Fabulous Sturgis Odyssey" could not have been more perfect.

The weather was splendid for the opening day's adventure... Not too hot, not too cool, a perfect porridge day.

The serendipity ride up highway 13 to Hamilton, MO, then Hwy 36 through the outskirts of St. Joseph, provided an absolutely solitary plethora of beauty of rural Missouri.

The smidge of Interstate 29 was surprisingly delightful with the view of crops and farms draped on both sides.

The day also provided a variety of peeks into days gone by and the small towns of America in all their beauty.

Nebraska's massive landscape indulged that small town ambience and friendly communities along with their endless acres of corn.

Definitely a picture perfect day for these Iron Horse Monkeys.

Stay turned for Day 2 of "Our Fabulous Sturgis Odyssey."

I'm not sure any museum is being run now. It looked very unkept.

There was nobody there to ask. I think it was once a riverboat museum at Brownsville, Nebraska.

Is that an old Boiler powered “Paddle Wheel” in the first pic? Is that thing on land now? Is there a backstory? Where was it? Inquiring minds wanna know... LOL!
