I always feel most present when I write. Writing takes me to a place of flow, where time stands still and there are no minutes just thoughts to that separate the spaces of time.
I've said it before, but I do this for my own history.
A narrative to look back on and be so happy I've documented bits of this journey.
I'm finding more and more that when I shut off from all else while enjoying the time, solo mornings I do my best thinking and blogging.
This past week on my favorite spot on the couch I took some mornings to roam through "Thoughts Ave" before much of the world woke up.
I curled into my spot and wrote pages upon pages in a journal.
I should say 3rd book (I already filled journal 1 & 2!)
The compilation of notes in my handwriting I hope are some treasures that somebody will enjoy when I am gone.
For the last 4 years I had been experiencing and writing about the living nomadic for the winter months and it's just fascinating to me.
These moments are our life. These city days, moving and travels that have packed this year are the dream I've wanted and am so fortunate to live.
No really, "where" was I?
Everywhere would be my answer.
First part of 2023 I wandering Florida, Alabama, Louisiana & Mississippi!
I got to spend some time with my Florida kiddos...
We brought in the New Year with a wonderful hotel on the Panama City's Gulf Beach!
In fact, lots of traveling to multitude of beaches and regional sites...
I even got to I-Spy Trump's plane in Florida.
Found a bunch of interesting Flea markets...
Thanks to my good pals Vicki & Duane, with their hospitality I got to spent several months riding and sightseeing in Mississippi, Louisiana & Alabama.
Thank You!
I got back in time to enjoy the rest of the year with my kiddos back home!
I brought back a gator head for my grandson. He loved it!
Summer 2023 has graced me with an impeccable season.
Warm but the nicest in my last few years I believe.
It was great that it only seemed to rained when I need the down time anyway. 😄
There were perfect clear blue sky days as the weekend norm.
Since June it's been a ride of fun and antics, with many Missouri mini road trips, motorcycle rallies, fairs and more...
Then there was that 10 day originally planned Colorado trip which turned into Amarillo, Texas - Oklahoma Road Trip...
I even got to see in August, the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, IA before they closed their doors for good!
Now that a school desk I'd like!
While in the area I bopped over to the movie site Field Of Dreams...
I'm still keeping busy...
I have future plans with my sister in-law (my brother's widow) for Thanksgiving and celebrating my "Birthday".
(She doesn't ride but jokingly climbed on the trike last time I was in her area.
I'm thinking she'd ride with me if I brought my GW Trike sometime!)🤣
There has been beautiful scenery, time with family & friends and epic road trips that are definitely mental photographs etched in my memory bank.
Thanks for listening to my mind dump today!
I'm hoping for more adventures in 2024!
Nana
