11/17/2021 Fall Riding At It's Best...

Writer's picture: Nana Nana

Fall is arguably the best time of year for motorcycle riding. The air is crisp and cool. The light is stunning. The scenery is gorgeous because of the colourful foliage.

While your hands and toes might get a tad cold and you can pull out the vests and warmer gear, autumn is undoubtedly still awesome for riding.

However, a side effect of the cooling temperature is that dressing right is a little harder. Gone are the days of just slipping quickly into summer outfit. In autumn you need to figure out if both arm and leg need warm attire. You might need warm socks, boots and gloves. There’s more room for overdressing and subsequently overheating or worse underdressing and ending up cold. When you layer just right, it’s makes everything manageable. If you nail the balancing act, it’s a sure sign you are in tune with the season ready to make the most of the beautiful riding conditions. 😎

Yesterday was our chance to "nail it"

It was attire for cold/cool morning and the lack of, for the beautiful warm 70's afternoon with plenty of sunshine.

The first stop was my blood work clinic and then it was full steam ahead enjoyment of the beautiful fall day.

We had no special destination, only a goal to stay off the beaten path.

We were having such fun that pictures fell to the way side. 🙄

I did snap a couple tho... We found Nemo! 🐠

Well, Nemo Landing Campground (Army Corps) anyway.

Wish you could have been there!

Hope your day was as "Splendid"
