As I contemplate my next road trip I am reminded of the epiphany I've experienced.
It is a shame that tragic events have to happen before we often sit down and evaluate what is truly important in our life.
Losing my husband ten years ago opened my eyes to take each day as a new opportunity to live and enjoy the beauty of this world. To surround myself with optimism and beauty of this world.

Get a life in which you notice the smell of rain, fresh cut hay, wild flowers in the field and a breeze on your face as you ride down a beautiful road in the countryside.
