Here’s the thing. I think my mother ruined me on housework. People attend to what they value.
My mother came from a generation that obviously, value cleanliness and neatness more than some others.
That’s okay. I, myself, hate to do housework, It’s boring and repetitive.
So, instead, I'm thinking about paying someone to come in every week to clean my place. They gets an additional bit of income, and I don’t have to bother.
To me, that’s would be worth it.
Only problem is my place is a cluttered mess with two houses cramped into one.
I kept thinking I'd get to it but living life always made it a slow progress.
Plus it doesn't help also I have another person's stuff here to that he refuses to come get.
Others say just get rid of it. The thing is it's not that easy with one person who has lost the strength & vigor I once had.
Plus the down side of this rural living is "no service" for pick up even for donations.
It fall back on me to try to load and haul myself.
With nerve/muscle pain kicking my butt lately that really puts chore on me.
I'm lucky to get just the basic things done now days.
Now, would you say I’m dirty, lazy, or just getting old & just tired?
