Yesterday was a beautiful day and perfect time to start exploring.
My bucket list destination was Mackinac Island which is world-renowned as the place to get away from it all and relax or mingle with a thousand other tourist shopping & sightseeing.🤣
We started out on the shuttle from our hotel in Mackinaw City, MI to the Ferry crossing the Huron Great Lake.
The Ferry was about a 15 minute ride across Lake Huron to Mackinac Island.
Once there we found tourists gift shops & restaurants galore.
Not to mention a Fort & The Grand Hotel!
These puppies were tired when the shuttle dropped us (my sister in-law and I) back to our hotel.
It was a fantastic day I'll remember for the rest of my life!
