Our nation will not forget this day.
President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, at 12:30 p.m. while riding in a motorcade in Dallas during a campaign visit. Kennedy's motorcade was turning past the Texas School Book Depository at Dealey Plaza with crowds lining the streets—when shots rang out.
Nellie Connally, the First Lady of Texas, turned to Kennedy, who was sitting behind her, and commented, "Mr. President, you can't say Dallas doesn't love you". Kennedy's reply – "No, you certainly can't" – were his last words.
On This Day The Nation Mourns It's Loss!
On this date: 11/22/1973 Matthew M. was born. A man that would eventually become our family with the marriage to my daughter, Liz. They would go on to have a beautiful little daughter that is one of the joys of my life. Through the years our family would rejoice in happiness and sorrow too.
On 12/21/2022 we lost Matthew to complications of Diabetes. His last words to his wife (my daughter) were "Help Me".
Our family on this day both rejoice in his birth and our loss...
